Multiple means of transport allow you to travel around the city: five lines of subtes (the abbreviated name for subterráneo [subway]),more than one hundred lines of colectivos (name for “buses” in Buenos Aires) and interurban railways (or trains).

Taxis and remises are very common means of transport because they are safer and more economical than in other cities.

There are several transportation options to arrive at the city: by air and by ship from abroad; by air, bus and train from the interior of the country.
